A Rathmines man has been found guilty of selling bogus package holidays.

Aaron Weinrib of Cambridge Villas made over €27,000, by claiming to be an agent for Top Flight.

The court heard he had been selling three different holiday packages to New York, Las Vegas and Cape Town.

The 37-year-old used the money to keep up with his cocaine lifestyle having lost his job.

He's admitted theft and fraud, and will be sentenced in the new year.

Weinrib intends to use half of his current weekly wage of 400 euro to refund his victims.
