Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit Ireland and Northern Ireland from May 19-22.
He last visited here in 2002, but this will be his first trip to the Republic joined by Camilla.
Planning is still in progress and more details will be released in due course.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall welcomed Irish President, Michael D. Higgins, to the U.K. in April 2014 as part of the Irish State Visit.
The Prince has officially visited Ireland twice before, in May/June 1995 and February 2002.
