The City Council wants more information about how a Dublin businessman plans to redevelop St Andrew's Chruch.

The man behind the project is Michael Wright, who's family runs the well known seafood business in Howth and Marino.

He wants to turn the former tourist office on Suffolk Street into a posh food hall.

The revamp also proposes a bar, banqueting hall and cultural venue.

However conservation officers for the city council have labelled the plans vague and have requested more detail.

They want to know about what kind of concerts would be held, what the opening hours would be and they've asked for an archaelogical assessment.

Neighbouring restaurant Salamanca has raised concerns the development works could create a rat problem.
