Some north side sports clubs could have to find somewhere else to play.

It's because the pitches next to St. Pauls College in Raheny have been put up for sale.

The religious order which owns the land has agreed to sell part of it for housing in a deal worth around 25 million euro.

Clontarf GAA teams use the grounds as does Belgrove Football club.

Contracts to use the pitches exire in August and may not be renewed.

The Vincentians say part of the proceeds of the sale of the land will be put to improving St Pauls School and its grounds.

The money will also be used to build a mulit purpose sports hall and a flood lit pitch for the school and community.
