Pedestrian Hit By Cyclist Critical In Hospital

A woman in her 40s is in a critical condition after being hit by a cyclist in Ranelagh.

She was knocked down while walking across the road at Grand Parade on Thursday morning.

Gardai are appealing for anyone who was in the area around 9am on Thursday and saw what happened to contact them.

The injured woman was initially taken to St. Vincent’s University Hospital, but has since been moved to Beaumont Hospital where her condition is described as critical.
