One person has died after a shooting close to a college campus in the state of Illinois.
Police officers responded to the scene close to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign after receiving multiple reports of shots being fired.

The Champaign Police Department say they responded to a call at close to 1am where four victims were located on-scene with gunshot wounds.
Three other people sustained non-critical injuries, according to authorities.
A fifth individual who was running from the gunfire was struck by a vehicle, and received minor injuries.
