There's been a rush of first time buyers entering the property market at the beginning of this year.
The number of property sale transactions was up 44 percent for the first two months.
Asking prices also increased by 2.2 percent nationally and 2.5 percent in Dublin during the first quarter.
According to MyHome.ie, the average price for a house in Dublin is 276 thousand euro.
