Irish Water says it is lifting water restrictions in North County Dublin temporarily as water levels have risen.
People in the area have been struggling to wash, cook and clean for almost a week because of low supplies.
It’s been a frustrating few days for locals in Skerries, Rush and Loughshinney.
Every day they have to collect water at emergency stations so they can wash, cook and flush their toilets.
Irish Water is blaming the low supply on the dry weather and increased demand.
This evening Irish Water’s announced it’s lifted the restrictions but now but warns they will probably have to be enforced again tomorrow night.
The issue will also be raised in the Seanad tomorrow.
