A motorcyclist has been seriously injured following a crash in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened on Con Colbert Road, close to the junction with Sarsfield Road, at 3.45am.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late 30s, was rushed to St James's Hospital where his condition is described as serious.
There were no other vehicles involved and gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them at Kevin Street Garda Station on 01 666 9400.
The road has since reopened.
