Met Eireann has issued another status orange snow-ice warning for Leinster. The alert is in place until 10am tomorrow, Tuesday March 6th.
The forecaster says: "Deep lying snow remaining in places. A continuing potential for localized flooding due to the thaw. Frost and icy conditions tonight and Tuesday morning."

Monday - Dublin
Cold and cloudy with a few patches of rain and drizzle. There's could be some sunny spells this evening. The forecaster says there is a risk of flooding with maximum temperatures of 5-7 degrees.
"Snow-melt will continue to lead to an accumulation of surface water with the risk of flooding."
Tonight will be cold and frosty with temperatures dropping between -2 and +2 degrees. Mist and fog will also form.
Tuesday - Dublin
Fog and frost will clear tomorrow morning. There will be a mix or sunny spells and showers, some thundery, with highs of 5-8 degrees.
Wednesday - Ireland
Wednesday will be cool and bright with sunny spells and scattered showers, some of hail and sleet. Temperatures will range from 5-8 degrees. Frost and ice will form on Wednesday night with lows of -4 to +1 degrees.
Thursday - Ireland
Bright spells and wintry showers. Chance of snow on high ground. Highs of 6-9 degrees. Dry on Thursday night with frost. Lows of -3 to 1 degrees.
Friday - Ireland
A dry, bright and frosty on Friday morning. Outbreaks of rain on Friday afternoon in all areas. There could be some snow in the northwest of the country. Highs of 6-9 degrees.
Weekend
Met Eireann says that present indications suggest it will turn milder over the weekend. However, it will stay unsettled with some rain and strong winds.
