Dublin Fire Brigade says one of its crew members has been injured after an ambulance was 'hit by a slingshot'.
The incident happened in the city centre, with the ambulance hit by a projectile.
In a tweet, the fire brigade condemned the incident, describing it as "unacceptable".
DFB added: "We wish our colleague a speedy recovery."
Health Minister Simon Harris responded to the incident, describing the attack as "despicable behaviour".
