Conor McGregor failed to appear before the courts today, due to illness.

The UFC fighter was due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court in relation to several alleged driving offences.

Conor McGregor was due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court today, facing seven charges in relation to an incident last March.

His barrister David Staunton told the court he couldn’t attend today's session, as was ill and attended his GP this morning.

The case relates to a driving incident that's alleged to have taken place on the N4/M50 interchange,

He’s facing seven charges, including two counts of dangerous driving, once count of careless driving and driving without an insurance or licence.

During his last appearance in November, Mr McGregor's team put forward a proposal to be considered by the DPP, but today the court heard the parties could not resolve the matter.

Judge David McHugh adjourned the case for now and ordered the hearing to take place on the 6th of December.
