The sentence hearing of a man who raped one woman he met online and sexually assaulted two others has been adjourned until November.

Patrick Nevin from Dún Laoghaire attacked the three women at various locations in Dublin and Meath over an eleven day period in 2014.

Last November, Patrick Nevin was found guilty of sexually assaulting a Brazil woman who’d agreed to on a date with him after they matched on Tinder.

He picked her up on the evening of July 23rd 2014 and told her he was going to take her to the best coffee shop in Dublin. He didn't.

Instead he drove her to a secluded part of the UCD campus where she said he went from being really friendly one minute to looking like a monster.

He pleaded guilty last month to raping another woman he met online eleven days beforehand and he also admitted sexually assaulting another Tinder match four days later.

His sentence hearing was due to take place this morning but an application to have it adjourned was heard earlier this week and approved by the court today.

He was brought into the court for the brief hearing and remanded in custody until November 19th when facts will be heard and the victims will be given an opportunity to outline how the attacks affected them.
