A court's heard a Dublin man led gardaí on a high-speed city centre chase during which he nearly knocked over pedestrians on O’Connell Bridge.
Leonard Dumbrell stole the car in Ballsbridge and drove it the wrong way up several streets before crashing it at Temple Bar Square.
The 26 year old from Inchicore but now living in The Park, Clonathan Village, Gorey, Co Wexford will be sentenced in October for car theft and dangerous driving in January last year.
