A man is being questioned in connection with the murder of a father of one at an all-night rave in Ballyfermot last November.

It's believed some sort of row at an illegal rave inside an industrial unit at O'Casey Avenue, Parkwest in Ballyfermot led to James Griffin being knifed.

Gardai arrived just after 4am on Sunday Nov 14th and the 26-year-old father of one was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigating officers arrested a suspect in his late teens yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station where he’s being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act which means he can be held for a maximum of 24 hours.
