A man has been killed following a hit and run in North Dublin.
The incident happened in the early hours at around 1:30am on Rathbeale Road in Swords.
The man, who was in his 30s, was struck by a dark coloured saloon car which failed to remain at the scene.
The car then drove off in the direction of Ashbourne.
The young man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardai.
