A man's in hospital after an assault in Dublin 8 last night.
It happened on Robert Emmet Walk in near Thomas Street between half past ten and eleven o'clock.
The 58 year old victim was later found on Cork Street at around twenty past midnight, and rushed to St James Hospital, where he's in a stable condition.
Both scenes have been preserved for technical examinations.
