Gardai are appealing for witnesses after an 85 year old man died in a crash in Dublin yesterday.
The two car collision happened at around 11.30am at the junction of Conyngham Road and the Island Bridge Gate of the Phoenix Park.
The driver of one of the cars, an 85-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to St James Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the second car was also removed to hospital but his injuries are not life threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has any information is asked to contact Gardai.
