A man has been charged after €720,000 worth of cannabis was found at Dublin Airport yesterday.
Revenue officers discovered around 36kg of herbal cannabis concealed in vacuum-packed packages in the baggage of a passenger who had arrived on a flight from Toronto, Canada.
A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested and taken to a Garda station in Dublin.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning.
Investigations are ongoing.
