Summerhill's own, Barry Keoghan, has won Best Supporting Actor for his role in 'Banshee's of Inisherin' at Sunday's BAFTA awards.

The 30 year-old played the role of Dominic Kearny, in the comedy/drama.

The film - set on a remote island off the west coast - also stars fellow Dubliners Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.

Tipperary's Kerry Condon also won at the ceremony in London - picking up 'Best Supporting Actress'.

Condon, Farrell, Gleeson and Keoghan have all been nominated for awards at next month's Oscars, in Los Angeles.
