An Irishman has pleaded guilty to a charge in the US that he helped to run an online black market which sold millions of dollars worth of drugs.
Silk Road, which ran between 2011 to 2013, was used to sell drugs and launder money on the dark web.
30-year-old Gary Davis, from Wicklow was part of the illegal site's staff - and pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute drugs.
He could face up to 20 years in prison and will be sentenced in January.
