An Irish woman will today begin her attempt to become the first crutch-user to climb four of Ireland's most iconic mountains in 24 hours.

Nikki Bradley was left with severe damage to her right hip after battling cancer in her teens.

Along with mountaineer Iain Miller, she is aiming to reach the summit of Carrauntoohil in Kerry, Croagh Patrick in Mayo, Slieve Donard in Down and Mount Errigal in Donegal.

The adaptive adventurer is raising money for three charities through a GoFundMe page which can be found here.
