If you're going on holiday in Europe you're being warned about record breaking temperatures.
Forecasters predict it could hit 48 degrees in parts of Portugal this week.
The last time it was that hot in Europe was in Athens in 1977.
Met Eireann's Harm Luijkx says be prepared for extreme heat.
"Temperatures will be highest for inland parts of Portugal and Spain. Tourists are more likely to head to coastal areas where the temperatures will be more like 30 to 35 degrees. My advice would be to avoid the inland areas."
