A group of businesses has appealed to Dublin Port Company to engage with them over the future of cruise ships docking in the port.

Dublin Port Company has announced that it would reduce the number of cruise ships allowed into the port from 160 this year to 80 by 2021 to make room for more container traffic.

The All Ireland Cruise Ship Action Group says it is disturbed by these plans, and is seeking further assurances from the company.
