The sister of Ibriham Halawa has been describing the horrific conditions that the 19 year old is being kept in in Egypt.
The teenager from Dublin has been in prison in Egypt since August of 2013, after he was arrested during a protest in Cairo.
Ibriham's trail is due to take place today, although this is the 5th time he has been given a trial date.
Amnesty International Ireland have previously spoken out against the length of Ibriham's detention period, as well as over their concerns about the integrity of the Egyptian justice system.
Ibrahim's sister Somaia, says their mother went to visit the jail where he's being held.
Somaia says Ibriham is in great distress, and he's being tortured in prison:
