Hundreds of people have attended a funeral service for Kildare schoolgirl Ana Kriegel.
The 14-year-old’s body was found two weeks ago in a derelict building.
Ana’s family say the schoolgirl loved sparkle and colour - and asked for the dress code at the funeral to reflect this.
Family and friends gathered to remember her at a civil service this afternoon at Newlands Cross Crematorium.
Around 200 school students also attended the service, with some forming a guard of honour as Ana’s remains were brought in.
Ana was adopted as a toddler and the family asked for any donations to be given to the Russian Irish Adoption Group.
Ana’s body was found this day two weeks ago at a derelict farmhouse in Lucan, Co Dublin - three days after she had been reported missing.
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with her murder.
He is due to face his second court appearance tomorrow morning at the Children’s Court.
