House price inflation in Dublin has slowed because there aren't enough buyers for expensive homes.
Prices in the cheapest areas rose at twice the rate of those in the most expensive areas.
Mark Keenan, Residential Property Editor with the Irish Independent says it all comes down to affordability.
"Areas where we've seen the most price increases are the areas where the most affordable homes can be got," he said.
Average prices in Dublin 24 went up by 8% -- but prices in leafy Dublin 4 rose by just 3%.
