House Price Growth Slows In Dublin

For the first time in four years, the pace of house price growth has slowed in Dublin compared to the rest of the country.

According to the latest Daft.ie report, asking prices for a house in Ireland grew by 4.6 percent in the first 3 months of this year.

The average cost of a home is now just over 200 thousand euro but in Dublin a three bed semi-detached home will set you back around 324 thousand euro. 

The report's author Trinity College Economist Ronan Lyons says the new Central Bank mortgage rules have had an impact on the market.
