The Dublin Regional Homeless Executive has confirmed of the largest hostels in the city is to close imminently.
The Brú Aimsir on Thomas Street provides emergency and overnight accommodation for up to 100 people.
Operated by the Depaul charity, the facility first opened its doors in in October 2015.
It's not clear why it is to close its doors.
Alternative facilities
The DRHE has said it has sourced capacity at three other facilities for those affected by the closure of the hostel.
The Brú Aimsir currently offers an overnight-only service.
It has been reported that some of the replacement beds would be in 24-hour facilities.
