Families with children who are homeless or facing homelessness are calling on the government to urgently build social housing.
A protest was held in Dublin today at the NAMA owned "Deerhunter" site in Sallynoggin.
People Before Profit TD Richard Boyd Barrett attended the demonstration - to highlight the plight of the 90,000 people on social housing waiting lists nationwide.
He says "Deerhunter" is just one example of many suitable sites for social housing.
