There's been a high speed garda chase in Tallaght this morning.
Several garda cars were involved in the pursuit when a car was stolen from a house in Tallaght early this morning.
The owner reported the incident to the gardai as soon as it happened and officers located the vehicle.
The car raced down the Tallaght bypass with more units joining the chase.
The garda helicopter was also deployed and was following the car from the sky.
The chase ended in Jobstown when the car was stopped.
A man was arrested at the scene and taken to Tallaght garda station for questioning.
No one was injured in the incident.
