One of Dublin's largest bin companies has hit out SIPTU saying the union's trying to change an unofficial work stoppage, into an official strike.
Greyhound Household says this morning's strike action by 70 staff who collect rubbish across the city are going against a Labour Court recommendation.
The bargaining agreement states workers involved in unofficial work stoppages should work under protest and give two weeks notice of official strike action.
Workers are downing tools in a row over claims their wages will be cut by 270 euro a week.
