The GPO was transformed from a Post Office to a banqueting hall for a party last night.
240 homeless people were invited for a night of dinner and dance as part of the annual 'Eric's Party', organised by the Dublin Lions Club.
The Defence Forces were on hand to set up the hall and U2's Larry Mullen made a surprise appearance to entertain the guests.

The Defence Forces also provided the meal which included country kitchen chicken, beef casserole, winter vegetarian stew and steamed jam sponge with custard and fresh fruit.
It's been the third year that it has been held in the GPO but the event is in its 59th year.
It coincides with a drop in the latest homeless figures, with new stats showing 270 fewer people were homeless last month.
