Gardaí have named the baby girl found on a Dublin beach, Belle.
The infant was discovered in Balbriggan on Saturday morning by a woman who was cleaning the area. No foul play was involved in the death of the newborn.
Gardaí said they have concerns over the well-being of the child’s mother and are asking her to come forward. They are also appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
