Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the latest fatal shooting in Dublin.

It's after a 27 year old man was shot dead yesterday afternoon at the Bridgeview Halting Site in Ronanstown at around 3 o'clock.

A car was found on fire in Crag Ave shortly after the incident.

A second car was also found burned out at the rear of Snowdrop Walk in Darndale yesterday evening, in an area known locally as the 'peace line'.

Superintendent John Gordon from Lucan Garda Station says officers are specifically looking for the public's help if they have any information about two cars - a black Volkswagen Golf with the registration number 05-CE-1675, and a black Toyota Avensis with registration number 04-D-72956.

It's believed to be the latest killing carried out as part of the Hutch-Kinahan feud.

Crime Editor with the Irish Sun, Stephen Breen, says the end to the feud doesn't look to be coming in the near future "Gardaí have been on high alert for a number of weeks now. They are still operating checkpoints under Operation Hybrid. Just last Friday two fully loaded firearms were recovered in the north inner city so the tension is still there but the targeting is also ongoing. This just goes to show the feud shows no sign of ending any time soon."
