Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after two men died following separate road collisions in Cork and Dublin.
In Bandon, a 30-year-old man lost his life in a two-car crash shortly before six o'clock yesterday evening. The man - who was driving one of the cars in Coolfadda - was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A woman driving the second car was hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, a 62 year-old man died in a single-car crash on the M50 in Dublin before one o'clock this morning.
It happened between Junction 10 Ballymount and Junction 11 Tallaght. The driver of the car, a 60 year-old woman, remains in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital.
