An ongoing Garda led operation is in progress near Dundalk.
It’s taking place at Roskeagh close to the M1 flyover - just off the Old Armagh road - about two miles from Dundalk.
It's understood the Garda regional support unit are involved in the operation.
The army bomb disposal unit are also at the scene.
A small area has been sealed off.
