Two people have been arrested after a Garda was knocked down on Baggot Street.
Officers say a 4x4 failed to stop just before eleven this morning.
The vehicle continued on towards Waterloo Road where it crashed into a wall and those inside ran.
The garda, who was on foot at the time, has been taken to hospital with arm injuries.
A man and a woman in their twenties are being questioned at Irishtown Garda Station, and investigations are continuing.
