A Garda being questioned in connection with the leaking of information to the media has been released without charge.
The officer was detained yesterday after an inquiry by senior officers into complaints raised in the Roma report by the Children's Ombudsman last July.
That report was launched to examine the Garda handling of the cases of two blonde Roma children who were removed from their families two years ago on suspicion that they had been abducted.
The officer was released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
