Hundreds of people have gathered to attend the funeral of the victims of the Clondalkin fire.

The remains of 27 year old Annmarie O'Brien, her daughter Hannah Paris and her unborn son AJ were brought into St Anne’s Church in Shankill this morning, along with the remains of their cousins Jordan and Holly.

They lost their lives in last week's blaze at Cluanin Cronan, a step down facility used by Sonas.

Fr John O’Connor said Jordan and Holly's dad Jamie will mind their mum Biddy who remains in a serious condition in hospital.

"Last evening I spoke with Jamie and he told me how much the children loved their mammy. He wants them to know that he will look after their mammy."

Peppa Pig, Spiderman and My Little Pony balloons decorated the side of church, however there was little music and no singing at the mass in Shankill.

The victims have been laid to rest at Springfield Cemetery in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

Mourners have heard how "heaven now has five more angels."
