A compliment from the French President to the Australian Prime Minister appears to have been lost in translation.
While wrapping up a joint news conference, Emmanuel Macron thanked Malcolm Turnbull and his "delicious" wife.
Many have jumped to the defence of the President, pointing out that the French word for delicious also translates as “delightful”.
