The size and weight of supermodels is due to be debated by politicians in France.
The French Health Minister is asking the government to support a bill which would enforce fines or prison sentences for hiring models that are deemed to be too skinny.
It's aimed at preventing eating disorders and the promotion of a thin body image.
Dr Kielty O'Berlin, is a lecturer on eating disorders in Trinity College Dublin and also a survivor of an eating disorder.
She says the issue of body image in ads as well as in online material also needs to be regulated:
