A former RTÉ producer has appeared in court charged with a number of child abuse offences.
58-year-old Kieran Creaven with an address at Adelaide Street in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin is facing 17 charges in total.
They include the sexual assault of a child outside the State and the possession of child abuse material.
He has been remanded in custody with consent to bail on a number of strict conditions.
These include that he refrain from using Facebook or Skype.
