Forever 21 is closing its Dublin store - the only one in Ireland - due to spiraling losses.

The outlet which was the first branch in Europe opened in the Jervis Centre in 2010.

The US retailer has posted losses of 44 million euro, with a portion of that set aside for redundancy payments.

It's believed the company agreed an annual rental fee of €2.75m for the space in the Henry Street shopping centre.
