Dublin's on flood alert as rain and and high winds batter the country.
The city council has activated its defenses along the Dodder and Tolka rivers, and the car parks at Clontarf and Sandymount have been closed.
High Tide was expected at about 1.47pm, so homes vulnerable to flooding should be out of the danger zone a little later in the afternoon.
Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather warning for wind and rain in Dublin, but the city is getting off easy compared to the rest of the country which is on orange alert.
