The plane at the centre of an emergency landing at Cork Airport last night will be inspected today.
The chartered plane was on its way from Belfast to Spain when it was forced to divert after the pilot reported a suspected fuel leak.
Over 150 people were on board the Air Contractors flight - which touched down at Cork Airport just after midnight and was attended to by emergency crews.
The scare was caused after the pilot on the flight from Belfast to Reús reported that it was leaking fuel and sought permission to land.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the plane circled Cork three times as emergency services rushed to the tarmac.
However, the pilot managed to land safely and all passengers and crew were safely evacuated and accomodated in the city overnight.
A spokesperson for Cork Airport says the plane will now undergo an examination - but added that it's not thought there was a leak.
All passengers are expecte to be able to continue onto Spain on a replacement jet later today.
