The first non-stop Dublin to Beijing flight takes off today.
Hainan Airlines are operating the route, which will see four flights a week to the Chinese capital - two direct and two via Edinburgh.
The direct flights will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays and the journeys with the stopover will be on Thursdays and Sundays.

Earlier this month Cathay Pacific launched its Dublin to Hong Kong route.
