The removal mass of a man shot dead at a wedding in Fermanagh is taking place today.

63 year old Bernard McGinley, a member of the travelling community from Longford but who'd been living in Athlone, was shot in the chest outside St Mary's Church in Newtownbutler.

A second man was also injured during the shooting, but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are expected to be out in force at today's removal ceremony in Athlone, over fears that violence could break out.
