Tests are to be carried out today on the bodies of a elderly Churchtown couple found at their home yesterday.
The remains of the couple in their 80's were found in a house in Landscape park in Churchtown when a relative tried to get into the house at around 5pm.
The bodies of the couple were found in the living room.
Gardai who were called to the scene say there were no signs of a break in.
Gas Networks Ireland has said there was no gas leak at the scene.
Gardai say the deaths are not being treated as suspicious.
