EastEnders has received a warning from Junior Tourism Minister Michael Ring over its upcoming spinoff.
It was announced last week that Kat and Alfie will take a break from Albert Square later this year, and will star in their own drama series set in Ireland.
However, three episodes of the hit BBC soap were set here back in 1997 and they came under fire for portraying Ireland in a somewhat unfavourable light.
